About the Event

Join us for this special edition Regional Report: A GPEC Virtual Series where we’ve teamed up with the State of Black Arizona to launch their latest report: State of Black Business. This report was created in partnership with the Black Chamber of Arizona and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.

Investing in Black Arizonans is critical to the future of Arizona’s economy. This report begins to fill in the knowledge gap about Arizona’s diverse economy. Attendees will receive an advance copy.

The Zoom meeting details and a calendar attachment will be available in the confirmation email. Please note, there will be no in-person meeting.

State of Black Arizona and GPEC have teamed up to launch the second State of Black Business Report for the state of Arizona. Join us for this special edition of Regional Report: A GPEC Virtual Series to hear more about the findings.

The first analysis of these data points last year highlighted challenges and opportunities for expanding the presence of Black businesses within the state. Progress from action steps taken throughout the year will be discussed, as the new report builds on the previous work and analyzes key data points related to Black entrepreneurship and access to capital — exploring solutions to further address issues raised in the report.

The path to future prosperity begins with an understanding of Black/African American contributions to the economy, identifying a way forward and taking concrete steps in that direction. This informative report discusses the role of Black Arizonans in the state’s economic development. On the day of the event, attendees will be provided a link to access the report.

The Zoom meeting details and a calendar attachment will be available in the RSVP confirmation email. Please note, there will be no in-person meeting.
